I’m Chico Morales. I began public service at 16 as a volunteer firefighter, spent more than 25 years in law enforcement, and retired as a police sergeant. In Iraq, I worked on Personal Security Details protecting U.S. senators and ambassadors in a war zone.
Those experiences shaped how I work today: show up, pay attention, follow instructions, and take people’s trust seriously.
At Wateree, that means learning your pets’ routines, noticing when something seems off, and sending photos and an update after every visit. Some pets greet me at the door. Others need time. I adjust to them.

Pet sitting and house checks in Kershaw County
Straightforward, per-visit pricing. No boarding — every visit happens at your home in Camden, Lugoff, Elgin, Bethune or anywhere else in the county.
In-Home Pet Sitting
$35 per visit
Your pets stay in their own home on their own routine. Feeding, water, potty breaks, playtime and photo updates every visit. Standard care is $35 per visit, not per pet.
House-Only Property Checks
$25 per visit
No pets? We still keep an eye on the place while you travel — and a written update every time.
Livestock & Extended Animal Care
$75 per visit
For livestock and animal-care arrangements requiring more time and work than a standard visit. Chico will review your care needs and confirm the rate before booking.
Authorized Key Holder / Alarm Response
Quoted per agreement
We hold a key on file and respond to alarm-company or homeowner calls to meet responders and lock up afterward. This is not a security service.
Lockout Assistance
$25 home / $35 vehicle per call
