Wateree Pet & House Sitter LLC visits dogs in their own home instead of boarding them. A standard pet sitting visit is $35, the same rate listed on our services and rates page, and covers everything your dog needs while you're away plus a quick look around the house before we lock up.
As general guidance and not a guarantee, dogs often need 2-3 visits a day. The right schedule depends on your dog's routine, age, medication and the instructions you give us.
What a dog sitting visit includes
- Feeding and fresh water on your dog's normal schedule
- Potty breaks or walks as instructed by the owner
- Playtime and attention
- Medication when clearly instructed by the owner
- Crate and kennel area cleaned up
- Mail, packages, trash and plant help when it's part of the visit

Why in-home visits suit a lot of dogs
Staying home means the same food bowls, the same yard and the same sleeping spot, with no kennel noise and no unfamiliar animals. For dogs who are used to a steady daily routine, keeping that routine in place is often the simplest option. Every dog is different, so we follow your instructions rather than making promises about how your dog will behave.
No boarding, no standard overnights
We never take dogs into our home or a facility. Overnight stays are not a standard service — they are considered case-by-case only, based on the animals, the property and our schedule.

Dog sitting FAQs
How many visits a day does my dog need?
As general guidance only, most dogs do well with 2-3 visits a day. The right number depends on your dog's routine, age, medication and your own instructions — we follow what you tell us.
Do you walk dogs during a visit?
Yes, potty breaks, yard time or a neighborhood walk are part of a visit when that's what you've asked for. If your dog shouldn't be walked, we stay with the routine you set.
Can you give my dog medication?
We can give medication when the owner gives clear written instructions and the medication is labeled and ready at the home.
What if I have more than one dog?
Standard household pet sitting is generally charged per visit rather than per pet. Unusually large or livestock/multi-animal properties may fall under the separate $75 multi-animal and livestock visit policy.
How do you get into my house?
Access is arranged with you ahead of time, and keys are stored in the company key box under your name. A meet-and-greet at your home is preferred, ideally 3-5 days before the first visit.
Will I get updates while I'm away?
Yes. You get a photo and text update after every single visit, so you can see your dog and know the house is fine.
Do you board dogs or stay overnight?
